Our landscape designers are trained to custom design plans to fit our customers lifestyles, personalities and budgets.

Designers at Linton's specialize in color gardens, butterfly gardens and everlasting perennial gardens. They also are trained to install custom ponds, waterfalls and bridges, as well as gazebos.

The landscaping design division of Linton's employs special crews that install retaining wall systems, landscape lighting and paving bricks for patios, driveways and walkways.

We install lawns by hydroseeding, dry seeding or by installing sod.

Option #1 - Stock designs
Linton's offers stock designs that can be utilized as is, or modified to achieve a personalized design for your situation. These designs are front foundation plantings for some popular Michiana area home styles.

1. See a Linton's Garden Centre Staff associate to select a pre-drawn home style that most closely resembles the front of your home.
2. Begin choosing the plants that best fit your taste and sun requirements using the pre-drawn plan that coincides with that plan.
3. If you are unsure or would just like some advice, simply ask one of our knowledgeable Garden Centre staff for assistance.

Option #2 - Specific area sketch
You can bring in a pre-drawn sketch, with measurements, (pictures are helpful too), of an area that you would like help in designing. Linton's Garden Centre staff can then suggest the proper plants and other items to place into your sketch.

Option #3 - Master plan design
Through using the Linton's Master Design Program you will receive a scaled design exclusively for our home or business drawn by one of our designers.

Just follow these 4 easy steps:

1. The purchase of a gift certificate as a deposit towards your initial plants and materials must be done in order to get started. See our office personnel for details.
2. Browse through our extensive selection of plants and write down your likes and dislikes.
3. Have an idea of what style you would like to go with...contemporary, oriental, cutting garden, colorful, bird & butterfly, traditional evergreens, low maintenance, etc.
4. Have an idea as to the budget you would prefer to stay within. For example, one side of an average home can range from $1,000.00 to $3,000.00 depending on the types of plants and ground cover you choose. We do our best to stay within your budget.

After you have purchased a gift certificate and signed an agreement that all landscape materials will purchased from Linton's, a member of our design team will come out to your home to take the þmeasurements of the area.

When the design is completed we will set up an appointment to meet at our office.

During your appointment we will walk you through the design - step by step - and answer all of your
questions. We will make any changes to the design as necessary to suit you.

Do-it-yourself customers can get a professional looking landscape while saving money by using one of our free design services. All you need to do is simply bring in a photograph of your current landscape or detailed measurements. A landscape designer can help develop a landscape plan and then coach you through the process, explaining proper planting techniques.
